My old world Ym!
This world has a main base on an autumn island, full of leaves and pumpkins. I made this base around launch and sadly, this world is bugged because of all the updates. Items keeps sliding around and fall out of place. Items (except for snap grid items like walls, floor and roof) tend to spawn pretty far from where they were originally placed, which makes building a nightmare.
The first pictures are of my old base, and the last four pictures are of my starter island base.
Welcome to Dreysil - world of my new base!
So, after the last update my world of Ym was pretty unplayable. I decided to start a new character with a new world. I still love the autumn islands, and decided to re-create my old base from Ym. But make it better.
Marketplace, main building with workshop, kitchen and other crafting stations, fields to plant and farm fruits and veggies. Extra house for storage and stuff :3
Ground floor with workshop with storage, smelter, blacksmith, furniture maker and a workbench :3 I also have a kitchen on the ground floor, with cooking stations, fermenting station and a hidden storage under the stairs going up to the 1st floor.
My 1st floor hallway, work in progress. Has a Yule tree, and a shark fish tank! Still need to get some more items and decorations in this hallway, so guess that will be my next project on my house.
My dining and guest area, with giant noodle bowls, because who doesn’t like noodles? Am I right? And the guest table, suitable for guests (makes random npc’s visit my house). And then we have my 2nd workshop, complete with potion maker stand and a hatter workbench. As of now, not all of the items placed are 3d models, so some of them look like nice cardboard cut-outs. Hope that will change in the future.
Last, but not least, here is the master bedroom. It takes up the entirety of the 2nd floor, and as you can see. It’s fairly empty, because I only used it as a spawn location. After the hallway, I guess I should start working on filling this room with items. Armor looks silly as a 2d cardboard cut-out, so really do hope they’ll make all items on item stands 3d in the future.
